I have been a patient of Dr. Hendriks since 1997 when I moved to Wetaskiwin from Manitoba. I followed him to WFMP when it opened. I have always felt genuine care from him and all the staff. I have seen other doctors at the clinic on occasion and have always felt well looked after. I suffer from a variety of both physical and mental disabilities. One thing I have trouble with is anxiety. It can be debilitating at times, but I feel very comfortable from the moment I walk in. I have seen over the years staff changes, but they always seem to make it a must that staff be of the same aura or kind attitude. I am so pleased with my medical team and high respect for the entire staff from a business perspective.

A few years ago, I took my 5-year-old son to a walk-in clinic to be told that he had a cold and was sent home. The following day he was even worse [and I made an appointment with Dr. Hendriks]. He did a thorough exam on my son, sent him for X-rays and tests, and we discovered my son actually had pneumonia. Ever since then we have gone nowhere else for our medical needs. The staff is friendly, the physicians have gone above and beyond, and I truly feel at ease knowing that my family is in such good hands at the Wetaskiwin Family Medical Practice.
